Why Use a Zoom QR Code?

One-Scan Join

Participants scan the QR code and join the meeting directly. No typing meeting IDs or passcodes.

Perfect for Hybrid Events

Display on physical signage at events so in-person attendees can also join the virtual component.

Works With Any Meeting

Works with Zoom meetings, webinars, and even Zoom Phone. Any Zoom link can be encoded.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the QR code include the meeting passcode?+

If your Zoom meeting link already includes the embedded passcode (most do by default), the QR code will carry it through. Participants will not need to enter the passcode separately.

Can I use this for recurring meetings?+

Yes. If your recurring meeting uses a fixed link (common with Personal Meeting ID or recurring meeting settings), one QR code works for all sessions.

Does it work with other video platforms?+

This template is optimised for Zoom, but you can use a URL QR code for Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, or any video conference link.

Will it open the Zoom app or a browser?+

If the user has the Zoom app installed, the link will open directly in the app. Otherwise, they will be prompted to download the app or join via the web browser.

Can I use a waiting room with QR code-shared meetings?+

Yes. All Zoom meeting settings (waiting room, registration, host controls) work normally. The QR code simply provides the meeting link.
